You stupid mouse. With your beard and your graceful swooping and stuff. YOU KILLED MY BROTHER, YOU MURDERER!
Now all I feel is the pain of the bacteria you left behind.
Or is that the infection I got from picking up that rusty safety pin and using it as an earring?
Whatever. It's over between us. OVER.

Nate, if I were ever a little boy and you Old Yeller going mad with rabies, I would sacrifice myself like a moth to the flame and let you bite me. Then we would end our lives the way two friends ought to, barking at the sun for giving us life when we wish it would just explode into a red giant and end our suffering.

...okay, now that was wierd.

I understand how you feel, Suzanne. In the event that you do become a cherry and I an orange, I will have no hard feelings if you don't want to be my friend anymore. It would be a sad thing, but necessary. Kind of like in those movies where a little boy has to make his dog run away for some reason, so he throws rocks at the dog and yells "YOU STUPID DOG! GET OUT OF HERE AND NEVER COME BACK!" and the dog looks kind of confused, but then somehow it becomes clear that the dog understands, and it leaves knowing it's for the best.
So I guess in that example you are the little boy and I'm the dog. Only in our version the I'm insane and I might kill you.
Wait isn't that like Old Yeller? Didn't Old Yeller have rabies or something?

You make me laugh, Nate. You really do, but if I ever become a cherry and you an orange I will have to discontinue our friendship. I DO have my boundaries.
